How it started
We started Oasis because we kept running into the same problem: rentals that looked great in the listing photos and felt like a storage unit when you arrived. Generic furniture, mismatched linens, a host who disappeared after the booking confirmation. Short-term rentals had been optimized for volume, and it showed.
The gap between a forgettable rental and a stay worth recommending is almost entirely a design and hospitality problem. Fix how a space looks and feels. Fix who answers when something goes wrong. Those two things — really solved — change everything a guest walks away remembering.
So we built the company we wished existed. A small, carefully selected portfolio of homes across Florida, Texas, North Carolina, and Missouri — each one curated for design quality, cleaned to hotel-grade standards, and supported by a local team that knows the neighborhood. We are selective on purpose. It is the only way to keep the standard.

Too many rentals optimized for clicks, not stays. We set out to build a portfolio where every home is designed to be lived in, not just listed.

Launched in Raleigh and Durham — the Research Triangle became our test case for the design-forward model. Early guests noticed the difference immediately.
